Torpoint Ferry Report Jan 2015
Since the last council report the following Torpoint Ferry weekly efficiencies have been achieved: w/c 15 Dec – 99.6% efficient – 6 crossings lost (delivery of main chain) w/c 22 Dec – 100% efficient – 0 crossings lost w/c 29 Dec – 100% efficient - 0 crossings lost w/c 5 Jan – 100% efficient – 0 crossings lost Target is 99%. Average since last report - 99.9%. Average during last rolling 12 month period - 99.5%

Disabled Off Street Parking Consultation

First bus service changes from 4 January 2015 in Torpoint
Local bus operator First are introducing a new service in January 2015, that has been created especially for Derriford Hospital workers living in and around Torpoint. Workers from Torpoint to catch the Service 81 from Torpoint and then change on the Plymouth side of the ferry onto Service 81D which will take them directly to the hospital for a 08.00 start. There are then two return journeys at 16.15 and 17.15 to cover most workers’ finishing times. The trip leaving Great Park at 06.32 will run 10 minutes later.

Gwithti - Torpoint Community College
Torpoint Community College has opened its new project on 6th October - 'Gwithti' - the Cornish word for Storehouse and is the name given to the community recycling store at the College. The store will be run by parents of students at the College as well as the Cooperative Trust Partner Schools at Antony & Millbrook. Notice of Proposed Dog Control Order
Torpoint Town Council is proposing to make a Dog Control Order under Part 6 of the Clean Neighbourhoods & Environment Act 2005 for Defiance Field, Antony Road, Torpoint. Location plan of the proposed Dog Control order is attached.
