A Line new bus service announcement
A Line bus services are pleased to announce the commencement of a new bus service 33 Torpoint Circular on 16th November 2015. The service will start at Penntorr Health Centre opposite HMS Raleigh at 0855hrs & run half hourly and terminate at Torpoint ferry at 1440hrs. ENCTS cards can be used on this service. Refugee Crisis - St James Church, Torpoint
In response to the current refugee crisis St James Torpoint have set up a collection point to send out aid to those in need. They are collecting both goods and money. Please see the document at for further information.

Tamar Crossings Survey
A survey is due to go live this Thursday 4 June regarding travel patterns on the River Tamar crossings. It is being hosted on the Tamar Crossings website and will go offline on 22nd June. Here is a link to the survey:

Libraries and one stop shops consultation events
Message regarding the upcoming consultation events for the libraries and One Stop Shops. The consultation is running from 1st April for 10 weeks and a number of events are being held. More information regarding the consultation can be found on the Cornwall Council website. The link to this information is: Public drop-in session for people who would like to know more about the review and be involved, Torpoint Library and one stop shop is on Friday 8 May 10am - 12 noon and 1pm - 4pm.

Enforcement Officer
Torpoint Town Council employee Ian Baard has recently completed Fixed Penalty Notice Training run by Cornwall Council. As dog fouling and litter enforcement officer for the town he will be undertaking regular patrols in the area. Please look out for him, his picture is here. More

Introduction to the Torpoint Neighbourhood Plan
The Plan is your opportunity to have a say on future developments, services and land use in the town. Various meetings will be held, the first is at Torpoint Council Chambers, York Road: Saturday 14 March 2015 presentations at 10.30am, 12.30pm and 2.30pm followed by question and answer sessions.
