COVID-19 Vaccination update – 2nd Doses update 10.05.21
Please note that if you are a Rame Group Practice patient and had your first Covid-19 vaccination at the Torpoint Council Chambers, the final vaccination clinic will be held there for second vaccination’s only on Thursday 13th May 2021.
If you have an invitation to book, please use it for this date. After this time appointments will only be available at Millennium House, Pensilva or at the China Fleet Club.
The Practice would also like to inform patients that if their first vaccination was a Pfizer at Millennium House, Pensilva or the China Fleet Club, this week is the last week of the Pfizer second vaccination clinics.
Please use your invitation to book your 2nd appointment as soon as possible.
If patients are due to have their second vaccination at the Torpoint Council Chambers, Pensilva or the China Fleet Club, but have not received an invitation to book, please contact the Practice on 01752 813277 after 10am.
Covid-19 Community Support Leaflet
An information leaflet has been produced and delivered to residential properties throughout Torpoint with funding assistance from Cornwall Council Community Chest. If you have missed your copy please click the LINK
In line with current government advice the Town Council Offices will be closed until further notice. Please ring 01752 814165 during office hours (9.00am to 5.00pm) with any enquiries or email firstname.lastname@example.org. The Library and Community Hub will be offering a click and collect service from 9.30am to 4.00pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Residents can collect seagull proof sacks, recycling containers and dog waste bags from the Library and Community Hub during opening hours. Antony Road and Bénodet Park - Remain open during the latest Lockdown Please adhere to Social Distancing Guidelines. Opening hours - dawn to 5pm.
Town Centre / Fore Street Support
After consultation with independent traders, businesses and Cornwall Council, pedal operated hand sanitiser stations have been provided at various points throughout Fore Street. Social distancing pavement markings have been put in place and we are delighted to see a safe increase in the numbers returning to support local retailers.
Tamar Street Car Park
In support of the re-opening of Fore Street Traders the council has arranged for 1 hr free parking at Tamar Street Car Park until 31st March 2021, with help from Council Councillors Gary Davis and John Crago and the Cornwall Council Community Chest Fund. Please make sure you still obtain a ticket to display in your vehicle. Free parking is limited to one visit per day.
Opening times from 01.11.20 from Dawn to 5 pm in line with the availability of the adjoining public conveniences. Please ensure you adhere to social distancing guidance during use.
Play Parks in Torpoint
In line with Cornwall Council guidance all playparks in Torpoint reopened on 4th July. Please always adhere to the safety guidelines displayed at the parks.
Torpoint Library & Community Hub

Fines: Don't panic, there will be no fines charged on late returns until January 2021 and we will also give further information in the New Year (unless the fine was previously incurred before lockdown started).

Access to public computers is limited, but we are unable to offer any staff assistance with computer queries to maintain safe social distancing.
