Biography

I moved to Torpoint with my family after transferring from Chatham dockyard to Devonport dockyard in 1978 and have lived in Woodland Way ever since. Both of my two daughters and grandchildren were educated in Torpoint. I have retired from the dockyard after working there for 43 years. I joined the Council as an Independent councillor in 2017 to be more involved with the decision making for our great progressive Town. I was the secretary for the badminton club for over 40 years and continue as a Neighbourhood Watch / Police volunteer and Chair for the Torpoint and Rame Active Community Network, where I am passionate about improving sporting facilities for the Town.‹‹ Back
