Queen Elizabeth II Fields Challenge 2012

We wish to thank the people of Torpoint for voting for Thanckes Park to receive the Queen Elizabeth II Fields Challenge award.

HMS Raleigh

As we are all aware, Torpoint is alive with rumour and speculation about, in particular, the future of HMS Raleigh.  I feel that it is our duty as Councillors to disseminate whatever information comes our way, so I attach Dr Fox’s letter so that you can give our Community accurate information.  The critical point is in the fourth paragraph, where the security of Raleigh appears to be assured.
